ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a "Senior AI Data Engineer" to:

• Lead a team of skilled software engineers to develop data pipelines;
• Mentor and guide the technical development of the team members in high impact Data Engineering projects;
• Create and own team strategy, roadmaps, and schedules;
• Design systems to perform quality control and data validation on the datasets;
• Build logging and experimentation infrastructure to evaluate the cost & impact of the datasets;
• Manage the data pipelines used to train and evaluate machine learning models.

Habilitações

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related data engineering field, with 3+ years of experience;
• Excellent programming skills in Python;
• Excellent knowledge in relational, NoSQL and distributed data stores;
• Experience with Data Warehousing and Analytics;
• Experience providing technical leadership on practices of data engineering (i.e. data modelling, ETL development, data warehousing);
• Solid technical mindset, teamwork and communication skills in English;
• Able to work successfully in cross-functional teams, especially across organizational and geographical boundaries.

WAYS TO STAND OUT

• Solid programming skills in either C++ or Java or Go or Rust;
• Experience with on-prem and cloud data systems;
• Experience on Cloud based data-driven development architectures;
• Familiarity with ROS framework;
• Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing and Computer Vision datasets.
